When we first moved into the home my husband put an offer on while I was sleeping (more on that later) the only immediate change we did was to build a fence. I knew right from the start that the home had good bones and that it was currently livable. Its just didn’t have the finishes I would have chosen and the bathrooms were outdated. It appears the guest bath was last renovated in the 90s, while the master bathroom was still circa 1979 with pink tile. The bathroom currently does not have a window. In the future we can add a sky light, window or brighten up the space using lighting. Since our ultimate goal is to gut and re-work the layout of the bathroom, the only changes I made were quick affordable cosmetic changes.
The before….

After!
I started off by choosing a white shower curtain to help make the space feel larger. I then painted the existing vanity in white.

Swapped out the light fixture, knobs (similar) and mirror (similar).

Finally I added some decorations above the toilet and some countertop accessories.

In the picture this might look like a half bath but the bath tub is actually behind the door. This bathroom is begging for a new layout where it allows for more space.
